CZ Basepad: Trojan Horse Kit (CZ Extended Basepad+ A pair of 11 Coil Spring+ Two Follower+Basepad Tool)

For CZ 17/18 round Mec-Gar magazines

Instruction for using the basepad:

To ensure the optimal user experience, please insert 25 rounds into the magazine following the installation of the Trojan kit and maintain the magazine in a loaded state for 24 hours or more to allow for the complete break-in of the spring. When loading 25 rounds for the first time, extra effort may be required for ammo insertion.

Please also note, the level of difficulties for loading 25 rounds with ammunition from different manufacturers may vary, due to its neck diameter being different.

To achieve a 25 rounds road, it is suggested that you use ammunition with neck diameter no greater than 9.60mm (~0.378 inch) for loading.

Features:

-Basepad Machined from a solid aircraft aluminum block with tight tolerances to achieve the smoothest installation/ disassembly.

-Tool-free quick-detach design for convenient field disassembly.

-High-quality anodized finish with various color options.

-Designed to work with the Trojan spring/follower kit to achieve 25 + 1 capacity and 25-round-reload on CZ 17/18 round Mec-Gar magazines.

-Laser-engraved markers on the bottom allow the shooter to better sort the magazines.

Red Spring is for Training, and Blue Spring is for Match.

We suggest an inspection (per 1000 rounds) to make sure whether the Trojan Horse spring exhibits any forward bending. Under heavy usage, or if it surpasses its designated operational life, the spring may incur deformation. It is advisable to consider decompressing the spring manually by gently stretching it.

Please note that using different recoil springs may have varying effects on the product’s performance.

    Basepads

I absolutely love these base pads, i have ran three of them in USPSA competitions for over a year shot 15,000 to 20,000 rounds with them Only complaint I have is after hard use the little keeper tension bar and the edge tabs gave out on two of them. And the bottom plate on one of them is a little tough to get in and out but I Reached out and they replaced them in a jiffy, they are a true 25+1 and I have ran many stages without having to reload because of this kit and I will continue to use them. Great product!

    Not too bad but...

I've been trying out the trojan horse kit on my Shadow 2 for a few weeks now. 1st, it cycles just fine. no feeding issues in about a thousand rounds so far. 2nd, I think it looks pretty good. However, while it is possible to superhumanly force 25 rounds into it, it is definitely NOT reloadable at 25. That was fully loaded with all rounds less than 0.380 most were 0.376-77. It is easily reloadable at 24 so not a total waste. Overall, not too bad just kinda pricey. Oh, just a heads up, the followers are 3d printed. not a big deal, just worth noting
